Orange is the new pink...

So, it's the end of October. The farmers market is bursting with colorful autumn harvest. Indian Summer is kind enough to share her beautiful sunsets at the end of the day, and everywhere I look - I see the color orange. I love this time of year. It totally make me happy.

"Orange is red brought nearer to humanity by yellow."
-Wassily Kandinsky

If it isn't enough to enjoy the simple jollies of a pumpkin, or the happiness of a sunflower, you don't need to look hard to find a 5 year old that just couldn't wait any longer to don his Halloween costume a few days early! Spiders, goblins and candy corns are everywhere.

"Orange is the happiest color."
-Frank Sinatra

Here's a few orange tidbits for you:
The message you send by driving an orange vehicle - Fun-loving, talkative, fickle, trendy. Orange is a power color. It is also one of the healing colors. Orange is said to increase the craving for food. It also stimulates enthusiasm and creativity. People who like orange are usually thoughtful and sincere. Orange is mentally stimulating as well as sociable. Use it to get to be more imaginative.

Orange is the warmth of the sun. It offers a more thoughtful control than my personal favorite, the ever-explosive red. Also, curiosity is a driving characteristic of orange - with that comes exploration.

Put some orange in your life when you want
to spice things up
to get a little attention
to increase creativity

"There is no blue without yellow and without orange." -- Vincent Van Gogh

And if you want to get noticed without screaming,
consider the color orange- it demands attention.

Then go carve a pumpkin.
Oh yes, and one less thought:
Orange you glad you read about Orange?
